20 years ago, Ceiba was founded on the principle of doing things differently in the world of software development. It hasn’t been easy, but from day one, we’ve built a community of people passionate about technology and innovation.

2005 The beginnings of a great dream
2010 Growth and consolidation
We surpassed 50 collaborators, strengthened our agile culture, and began standing out in the industry thanks to our ability to create innovative solutions.
2013: A great place to work
CINCEL recognized us as one of the best companies to work for, which reflects our commitment to the well-being and development of our employees.
2014: Strategic alliances
We became a Gold Partner of Microsoft and the first Colombian company certified by the Scrum Alliance to provide agile framework training, thus consolidating our expertise in agile methodologies.
2015: More than a team, a family
We made the well-being and growth of our team members a priority. We created an environment where everyone could learn and enjoy their work.
2016: Expansion and impact
Ceiba has established itself as a leader in digital transformation, spearheading strategic projects in multiple sectors. We have grown to a team of 200 and continue to expand.
2018: Global growth
We expanded our services beyond our borders by entering the Argentinian market and exploring new opportunities. This demonstrates that Ceiba’s quality and talent can compete globally.
2019: Recognized by the industry
MercadoLibre recognized us as a technology partner in Colombia, validating our ability to deliver impactful digital commerce solutions.
2020: Growth in difficult times
Despite the pandemic, we grew from 438 to 594 employees with no layoffs due to the health emergency caused by the virus
2021: Excellence in development
We achieved a CMMI-DEV Level 5 rating, which recognizes maturity and quality in software development processes.
2022: Culture of innovation and well-being
Our certification as a Great Culture to Innovate and a Great Place to Work confirms our commitment to the well-being of our employees.
2023: A space for everyone
Great Place to Work recognized us as one of the 23 best Colombian companies in Latin America. We were also recognized as one of the best companies for women in Colombia and Latin America due to our inclusive and equitable culture.
2025: 20 years of evolution and commitment
